First short-term joint staff training events

First Short-term joint staff training event was organized as a 5 working days /plus one travelling day/ event that took place in Ohrid and Kochani – North Macedonia, in August 2021.

This was first training event for the teachers from three different countries and Project Partners found as a great moment, that had a simulative impact on the all participants because this event started in Ohrid – North Macedonia, the City protected by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. From this reason Project partners implemented activities from the first two working days related with theoretical approach of importance of Cultural Heritage as well as possibilities for its introducing in educational process. After that, Participants went to Kochani where they were trained in using of the Open Educational Resources.

The working sessions were divided in three transnational teams (in accordance with similarity of their school subject – in one group participated History Teachers, in second Art teachers and in third Teachers of Musical education). In the frame of this event members of the Project Management Board had at least three working meetings (at the very beginning, after completion of training sessions, to make a Survey among participants and to analyze feedback, and on the last day to make an overview of the achievements from the realised activities).

Members of the Project Management Board monitored all activities in all parallel working lessions with aim to receive first hand information if there are any notified challenges. Members of Project Team for creation of Strategic Action Plan (IO No. 3) had a parallel working sessions for development of this Intellectual Output. During these working sessions also Team Leaders from project partners schools presented with aim to get familiar with the process of creation of Strategic Documents. The main goal of this event was to increase skills and competences of the school teachers in recognizing of the value of Cultural Heritage and under mentoring support from experts to develop and own education approach to implement acquired acknowledgement in their school lessons. Furthermore, teachers increased skills in using of eTwinning module and OER (web 2.0 tools) which will be used for presentation of achievements from the transnational students competitive event. The members of the Transnational Project Team for creation of IO No.3 increased experience in transnational cooperation and team-work, and with expected transfer of “know how” and sharing of best practices increased skills and competences in their area of expertise.
